About Me
Cristina’s Private Tuition offers personalised one-to-one and small group tutoring for students of all ages and backgrounds. I am dedicated to helping learners reach their full potential by providing them with the tools to master challenging concepts and develop lifelong skills.
As a private tutor specialising in teaching children from Reception to A Levels, I founded my own tutoring business in 2016 to make a lasting impact on future generations and create meaningful change beyond the traditional school system.
Many of my students see significant improvements in their marks within six months often doubling their proficiency. They regularly excel in Maths Challenge competitions and many achieve top or perfect scores in English exams.
What truly distinguishes my approach is the boost in self-confidence my students experience. Many arrive feeling lost and unsure of their abilities but quickly connect with my methods and make rapid progress.
I support a wide range of learning needs including students with Special Educational Needs or Autism. Whether developing exceptional talents or helping students overcome difficulties, I am fully committed to unlocking each child’s potential.
Over the years, I have maintained strong connections with many of my students. Some have been accepted into prestigious universities such as Cambridge and Oxford while others are confidently building careers as actors accountants and more.
Whatever their ambitions, I guide my students from an early age helping them discover their strengths and offering tailored advice that reflects who they are. My mission is to ensure that their next steps align with their talents and enable them to make a meaningful contribution to society.
About our sessions
I work with students both individually and in small groups, providing targeted additional lessons to drive their progress. I actively monitor and record their development ensuring that I provide regular and constructive feedback to parents regarding their child’s academic performance and behaviour.
I excel at creating individualised learning plans that cater to each student’s specific needs. My one-to-one work with children enables me to offer the additional support necessary to help them reach and exceed their grade level.
I am always available to address any questions students have about the curriculum and will confidently refer them to their parents when appropriate. I specialise in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and those with Autism. My qualifications allow me to provide effective interventions that help students manage anxiety and build their confidence.
I am also well-equipped to guide students through national tests including SATs GCSEs and the 11+ Common Entrance Exam. For those unable to engage in face-to-face sessions I offer flexible Zoom sessions to ensure they receive the support they need.
